The Eyes on Africa Foundation began its work in South Africa. Follwing a medical trip to South Africa, Jeff Lakusta began the organization with friends and family. Our heart will always be in South Africa – and we want our volunteers to be too!

The Eyes on Africa Foundation sends volunteers every summer to South Africa to work in orphanages and community organizations. The juxtaposition of physical beauty and incredible people beside the sometimes horrific conditions of many Townships is worrisome. The interconnectedness of its many hardships can be overwhelming, and yet the hopeful population and many resources provide a perplexing backdrop for such difficult problems.
